Taylor Heanue
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Taylor believes strongly in carrying on his father’s legacy of technology-driven craftsmanship, customer-focused business practices, and a respect-based culture. Building on this foundation, he continues to modernize and develop the company for growth and success.
Taylor oversees HTT’s manufacturing and production capabilities, quality and information systems, business development, and customer service.
Taylor has been around CNC machines almost his whole life. While in high school, he spent summers at HTT running a machining center. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, and returned with a fresh, modern engineering perspective that helped Paul and HTT to establish a formalized inspection program that became the basis for HTT’s current ISO-certified quality system.

In 2002, Taylor moved to California to pursue a career in medical device development, working for a range of companies, from emerging startups to manufacturing giants with mass production of commercialized devices. There, he picked up a range of skills in design and manufacturing, including expert-level SolidWorks skills and a deep understanding of manufacturing challenges and solutions. This experience galvanized his understanding that quality needs to be the bedrock of any successful company and his belief in the power of the process-focused mindset.
Taylor returned to HTT in 2017 as a seasoned engineering leader. The ideas and concepts he brought back to HTT have been invaluable in shaping the company into the quality-focused manufacturing organization it is today. During his tenure, Taylor has led HTT’s efforts to achieve ISO 9000 and ISO 13485 certification, directed strategic initiatives that expanded manufacturing capabilities, improved supply chain controls, and reinforced HTT’s commitment to producing the highest quality precision components for our customers.
