Traceability and Certification
Peace of Mind, Brought to You by End-to-End Process Control

OVERVIEW
Our commitment to traceability and materials certification ensures we meet strict industry and regulatory standards, giving you confidence that your components are produced responsibly and to spec, every time.
Every operation performed on every part is signed and dated. We maintain detailed records of every step in our production process, from sourcing raw materials to final inspection. Our discipline around data analysis and accountability results in repeatable high-quality parts, and we’ve kept this practice going for decades.
Materials used at High Tech Turning are all traceable to the certification supplied and we have domestic vendors that can meet ITAR, REACH, DFAR, and Dodd-Frank requirements. Copies of these certifications are supplied with each shipment of finished parts. High Tech Turning tracks the material used on every day’s production and keeps those records for at least seven years or longer as required.
Certified Materials
We work in all materials, including stainless steels, speciality alloys, aluminum, titanium, exotic materials like tungsten, Kovar, and precious metals, and any type of plastic. HTT also has extensive experience in the finish machining of die cast parts in aluminum, magnesium, and sintered copper, among other materials.
All materials are purchased per the part drawing and order specifications. These materials are inspected and stored in a controlled location. Each certification is confirmed against the part drawing and material is tracked continuously during production. Material certifications are included in every shipment to the customer and are stored indefinitely, backed up within our secure network.

Traceability Within the HTT Process
In addition to meeting ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 requirements, High Tech Turning puts a focus on Good Manufacturing Practices: we maintain a clean and orderly facility, and perform line clearance between orders to prevent contamination.
Each shift’s production is segregated and travels with its own documents proving traceability. When any work is performed on a part, an operator and an inspector must review and sign to approve the lot. These records travel with the parts through shipping and are stored on our secure server. We can also provide data in the form of inspection reports or any other statistical process control you need.
Certification of Outside Processes
High Tech Turning is accustomed to working within highly regulated industries like medical, aerospace, and defense. Whatever your needs are, whether it be ISO 9001, AS9100, or NADCAP, we ensure any outsourced services will provide certification to meet your specifications.
Our relationships with our vendors go back decades. We only partner with companies that are proven capable through our structured supplier management system. We start with vendor qualification, where we assess a potential supplier’s certifications, capabilities, and quality systems. Over time, we review quality metrics in a closed-loop system to ensure that all of our outsourced processes meet quality standards, maintain traceability, and support consistent product performance.
